What a wonderful way to start a wet Friday morning with a fabulous assembly by Year 6.
They took the audience through a journey back in time to meet some influential people of the Victoria era. Thank you to all the parents who came to watch - we hope you enjoyed it.
If you haven't signed up, it's not too late, click here or turn up on Monday.
If you know someone with a child wanting a place in Reception next year, please recommend that they come along to visit our Open Morning or book a tour of the school via the school office
Please bring donations for the local food bank into school next Thursday. Tinned goods and hygiene items are needed but a full list of wanted items is on the link: https://kingston.foodbank.org.uk/give-help/donate-food/
Please make sure children are in full school uniform and are wearing a school jumper or cardigan. If it is a PE day, please wear school uniform and bring PE kit in separately.
If possible children should bring in an unused or old piece of clothing to use as the material.
Please come dressed up as a Viking. This can be as simple as wearing brown/dark clothing. Please bring in any large carboard as we will be making Viking shields.
Please make sure your child has a waterproof coat as the weather is very unpredictable.

Some of our Ellingham children who had 100% attendance last year, went to a special awards ceremony at Southborough School. The Lady Mayor was there to present the certificates.
So proud of them all!
Attendance is a major concern in schools across the country. Children who learn and achieve well come to school regularly and have high attendance track record.
Don't miss the change to have yours child's artwork turned into beautiful Christmas cards mugs, gift labels or tea towels and raise money with £1 donated from every purchase to the school. Please return their artwork with your order by 2nd November.
In nursery this week we have been focusing on Goldilocks and the three bears, which is all part of our number of the week - number 3.
We have made porridge, teddy bears out of playdough and pictures using forks.
Reception explored the changing season and took a close up look at the sweet chestnut casing and nut. What fantastic scientists they are!
Year 2 are still on the hunt for Mr Underbed after they were tricked by him this week. The children set a trap and left a trail of biscuits to lure him in. They were left disappointed when they checked the trap and found a cheeky note instead of a hairy monster. So keep your eyes peeled as he is still on the loose!
Some children in 3BR have been so inspired by our learning in class that they've voluntarily done more at home! They've continued to practise their music, maths and handwriting - we're so proud of how they're pushing their learning on by themselves.
On Thursday, Year 4 travelled to the Natural History Museum to support their science topic. The children have been learning all about animal groupings and classification. While we were there, we saw amphibians, insects, mammals, fish, birds, arachnids, arthropods and even discovered whether the dinosaurs were vertebrates of invertebrates.
Everyone had a brilliant day and we are so grateful to the parent helpers.
This is the full safeguarding team in school. They are all trained to Level 3 and everyone in the school received the annual update of Safeguarding Level 2 training at INSET.
