We are delighted to share our Ofsted report 2021 which rated the school 'Good' in all areas. The Ellingham team is committed to providing an ambitious and inclusive curriculum to ensure that every child achieves their true potential and leaves primary school with positive memorable experiences that they carry into the future. "Being here has made me a better person" is just one of the lovely comments made by pupils to Ofsted inspectors and quoted in the report.

The Ofsted inspectors recognised so many positive aspects of Ellingham Primary School.

• there is ‘a friendly and purposeful atmosphere throughout the school’ which has a ‘positive impact on pupil’s learning’

• the curriculum gives pupils a rich set of experiences and is supported by subject leaders with expert knowledge

• staff set ‘high expectations’

• pupil’s behaviour is good around the school and in lessons

• behaviour and attitudes reflect the school’s values of inclusion and diversity’ and the pupils understand ‘the importance of celebrating and respecting the differences between people’

• pupils are well-prepared to move onto secondary school and personal development is a strength of the school.
